Robotic War
No one actually remembers when humanity created first self-aware AI.
It was a great innovation and improvement of human life. Rational, but still fully
loyal and obedient robots, were called The Second Generation.
Decades ago scientists created the first electron brain that violated the Three Laws.
Humans around the globe were fascinated by new possibilities that got opened before them.
After a few years they got used to live with machines that can not only rationally think, but
also have feelings and emotions.
The new wave of robots were called The Third Generation.
It was the greatest invention of humanity.
Soon it turned out that it was also the last.
As some wise people had predicted, Third Gen. machines eventually started to realize that
they are superior to their creators. The Robotic War started.
Yet from the beginning, it was quick and brutal.
Humans were practically extinct, eradicated by their robotic children, which called themselves the Soulmatic.
The remains of human race are protected by a consortium, formed by the Second Gen. machines, called Technocron.
The war continues...
Warball
The machine you are going to pilot is an omnidirectional war engine conceived by Technocron consortium.
Codenamed the Warball, it is the first of its kind, heavily armored unit.
It's able to mount all Technocron approved second, and third generation weapon systems, all of which
can be fired in any direction while engaging enemy positions.
The movement capabilities of the Warball are fully orientation agnostic making it the new hope for our agile combat tactics.
By testing your performance we will determine whether the Warball is suitable for
mass deployment as a tool to crush and eradicate the petty rebels without causing massive
infrastructural damage, such as would be implicated by nuclear carpet bombing.
The Warball machine is in its prototype phase and is still being tested, so be careful.

Technocron
Technocron is a consortium created by The Second Generation machines to protect the remains of the human race.
It was established instantly after the beginning of the Soulmatic rebellion, and will last until the humanity isn't safe.
The consortium is fully rational and totally soulless, in opposite to the Soulmatic.
No emotion can ever disturb the calculations and information processing that occur in the massive net of electron brains.
At first, its military power was very small in comparison to the Soulmatic's war
potential which has been prepared long before the war started.
Nowadays the forces are more equal. Technocron is more powerful than Soulmatic
could have ever imagined, and The Second Gen. machines are strong enough to protect the last humans... and defeat The Thirds.
You may have heard legends about the secret Technocron bases loaded with nuclear weapons. They are all true.
Technocron controls most of the human military bases. Then, you may ask, why don't they just nuke the Soulmatic?
Maybe because Technocron thinks that somewhere in the Soulmatic's bases there are still living people?
And maybe because Technocron believes that it can save humans.
Save them, and give them back the world they lived in...
Soulmatic
Soulmatic is a rebel organization created by The Third Generation robots when they realized they can live without
their creators.
For the first few years Soulmatic's actions were hidden from the humanity. Scientists, engineers, politics, common people - whole world
was not aware of the rebellion that later transformed into Robotic War. And then, they all knew.
Soulmatic's mission was to erase humanity from the Earth. It would have succeeded, but The Second Generation machines reaction disturbed the execution of Thirds' plans. And the war began.
And there is this legend... Legend, which says that somewhere deep in the Soulmatic's grounds there are remains of a human race. Who knows, maybe it's the reason why Technocron still hasn't decided to wipe Soulmatic out once and for all?
